You Are Jaws |
![]() You're scared of what you can't see right in front of you. Your imagination tends to get the better of you. And for you, something like the deep, dark ocean is obviously pretty terrifying. Who knows what's lurking right next to you? The idea of trying to get away from something that's after you really gets your heart pumping. Being chased horrifies you. You're also quite scared of big, hungry animals with no sense of right or wrong. You know a shark will stop at nothing to make you its lunch. |
Serena. I did tell you where I was going, right? Or I at least told Ephram.
But anyway, yes -- open invitation for anyone who wants to get gored up and terrorize small children. Come to Palo Alto.

Andy had beer, chips, dip, everything that he needed for a great day of football with the exception of four people between the ages of twenty-five and thirty eight. He missed his family. He missed yelling at the TV with them. He missed throwing food at them, and hearing about their lives, just generally being around family. It made him feel lonely. And he really didn't want to feel lonely.
Taking a deep breath, he pushed himself off the couch and made his way out towards the kitchen, searching out his roommate for the moment. "Hey, Jen? You around?"
She looked up, caught red-handed with a pint of ice cream and spoon. "Umm...yeah?" She smiled shyly.
"Busy?" he asked, smirking slightly as he saw her with the ice cream.
"Nope," she grinned.
He grinned back at her, before tilting his head back towards the living room. "Wanna watch the game with me?"
Jenny made a face. "I've told you I hate sports."
"Yeah, I know," he sighed. "And normally I wouldn't ask, but -- I'm feelin' kinda lonely in there, and I could use some company. You don't have to even pay attention, just -- talk to me."

hardhearted_han and used with permission from her mun who made a request for Andy/Hannah future fic with the prompt “superglue.” Set about ten years in the future.]
“So how’ve you been?”
Andy was leaning over the dining room table in front of him, looking over the model plane that he was trying to help Nicky put together. Everyone who ever had a child knew that when it came to having a five year-old, ‘trying to help’ meant ‘keeping them away from the superglue,’ but Nicky had actually managed to sit pretty still for once. His fingers weren’t nimble enough to put the tiny pieces of the plane together, but he could watch and hand Andy things when he needed them, which still kept them pretty interactive for him.
When Hannah showed up halfway through, Nicky had abandoned the plane in favor of his video games, but Andy was choosing to continue what he was doing, gesturing for Hannah to sit down on the corner from him. “Not bad,” he nodded. “Things have been pretty good. How ‘bout you?”
“Good,” she said with a smile. “Things’re good.”
“Good. Haven’t heard from you in a while.”
Hannah smiled slightly at that, before nodding. “I’ve been havin’ a life. A life outside of my almost sister-in-law’s husband and her family.”
